The hard copy is a printed, bound notebook and a CD with the presentations and electronic copies of the forms that you will be using.

If you purchase the download version, you will open the files (workbook PDF, PowerPoints and forms) and save them to your computer or network. You will print a copy of the workbook to use to guide you in your implementation project.

ISO 22000 workbook package: details

The workbook is divided into 5 sections and includes detailed task checklists, explanations and exercises.

Section 1

Management must identify a steering team for the project. It should be made up of managers from different areas of the organization. The purpose of the team will be to assign resources and responsibilities for the project as well as providing leadership for the project.

Once the steering team has been identified, the team can work together to complete the assigned tasks for section 1 which helps you prepare for the project and put together the project plan and timeline. This section breaks this down into 19 tasks and takes you through it step by step. There is a PowerPoint Training Presentation for this process.

 
Section 2

This section of the workbook introduces the Food Safety Team to the formal requirements for food safety and provides an understanding of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, CAC/RCP 1-1969 Rev.4-2003, Recommended International Code of Practice, General Principals of Food Hygiene.

Instructions to the Food Safety Team Leader for presenting the workshop and includes a PowerPoint Training Presentation and detailed exercises.

 
Section 3

Codex Alimentarius Commission, CAC/RCP 1-1969 Rev.4-2003, Recommended International Code of Practice, General Principals of Food Hygiene.

The Food safety Team Leader will present a workshop for the members of the Food Safety Team and complete exercises to identify the activities that are currently being carried out, to indicate the activities that meet the Codex requirements and to highlight areas that need attention.

Includes a PowerPoint Training Presentation.

 

Section 4

This section of the workbook introduces the Food Safety Team to the formal requirements for food safety and provides the tools to systematically incorporate the requirements for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).

The Food safety Team Leader will use the materials in this section to prepare and conduct a workshop o train the members of the Food Safety Team on tasks 20-30. Responsibilities will be assigned and a timeline prepared to detail the completion of HACCP plan for each product/process.

 

Section 5

This section of the workbook includes the steps to complete the design, implementation and documentation of your ISO 22000 FSMS. The ISO Steering Team will assign responsibilities and timeline for tasks.
