Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) says she plans to cosponsor two amendments being circulated by Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) that would protect small producers from provisions of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, S 510. The bill, which passed the Senate Health Labor and Pensions Committee in November, is awaiting a vote by the full Senate. More: www.agra-net.com
