What is fs22000 (FSSC 22000)
The abreviation for FSSC 22000 has recently been shortened to FS22000.
FSSC 22000 and FS22000 are the same certification scheme.
Overview
When GFSI evaluated the ISO 22000 for approval, they determined that they wanted more requirements identified for PreRequisite Programs. Click for more detail about GFSI.
BSI wrote a document to fill this need, called PAS 220. The combination of PAS 220 and ISO 22000 has been approved by GFSI for a registration scheme, and is called FS22000 (FSSC 22000). This scheme is run by the Foundation for Food Safety Certification (FSSC).

ISO 22000 + PAS 220 = FS22000 (FSSC 22000)
